I have an established and respectable history of working with music in various ways across many sectors. From my early beginnings as a music academy student, I am also a performer, teacher, lecturer, adjudicator, business woman, guest speaker and mentor. I have a wide understanding and passion for music education. I advocate diversity and inclusion in all of my work.

Vocal coach
I work mainly within the commercial pop industry where I create bespoke learning programmes based on my clients’ requirements. I work with emerging and established individuals, bands, vocal groups and choirs. My approach to vocal coaching goes way beyond just vocal technique. Through consultation and exploration with my clients and students I focus work on identity and artistic visioning. In addition, I create strategies that encourage career sustainability with confidence and clarity.

I love everything about choirs: the cohesion, the harmonisation, the contribution of the smaller sections that make up the whole ensemble. I love the energy they create and transfer to audiences that evoke strong emotional responses. I believe this is very specific to the human voice. I don’t even have to understand the language being sung to feel the magic of the sound and spirit that collective voices create.
I have a passion for working with diverse communities to enable people to have their voices heard and I have been at the helm of many innovative and inspiring choir projects and collaborations of all demographics and sizes. I am committed to providing accessible music training and artistic development for all people and I am always looking for interesting and accessible ways to do this.
