Mentoring & Creative Direction (1:1 Sessions)

This is where we focus on the bigger picture of who you are as a creative and how you live confidently and clearly as one. Mentoring with me is about more than goals and strategy — it’s about clarity, courage, and aligning your creativity with your whole self.

I take a holistic approach, because your mind, body, and spirit are inextricably linked. We’ll talk about daily practices, mindset shifts, and lifestyle changes that support your artistic and business aspirations alongside the choices and strategies that shape your career. Sometimes that means rethinking routines, sometimes it’s reading recommendation that sparks a breakthrough, and often it’s about asking the courageous questions: Who do you want to be as an artist? How do you want to show up in the world?

I also bring many years of first-hand experience in the music industry, so our conversations will reflect that. My focus is always on getting you to feel empowered and confident in your decision-making. I’ll suggest practical strategies and approaches that give you greater autonomy and help you take the reins of your own career. When you’re clear at your core about why you do what you do, you build a foundation that’s strong enough to carry you through the industry with clarity, sustainability, and confidence.

My clients range from successful recording artists, label owners and independent creatives. What unites them is a desire to think boldly, break through blocks, and create an artistic life that reflects their vision.

FAQs

How is mentoring different from vocal coaching?
Vocal coaching focuses on the voice and performance: technique, breath, range, and stage presence. Mentoring is about the bigger picture — your artistic vision, mindset, career strategy, and how you see yourself in the wider creative landscape. Many artists choose to combine both, but mentoring is for those who want to step back and think more strategically about their path.

Who do you work with?
I mentor a wide range of creative professionals, from live and recording artists, composers, songwriters, record label owners, and business owners working within the creative industries. What unites them is a desire to think clearly about where they are going and how to get there.

What happens in a mentoring session?
Each session is a confidential space for reflection, clarity, and strategy. We’ll explore your artistic identity, uncover blocks, and map out practical steps that align with your vision. You’ll leave with insight, focus, tools and planning structures to move forward with confidence and clarity.

Do I need to have a specific project in mind?
Not necessarily but it definitely helps if you have a goal in mind. Some clients come to me with a clear project or some feel completely lost. People use the sessions to change their mindset, reconnect with their “why,” and map out long-term goals. The sessions are shaped around your needs.
